1994 BMW 318

In addition to its usual line up of four-cylinder 318's, BMW offered a 318 rag top for the first time in 1994. Other 318 convertibles also got new styling, similar to the rounded corners that began appearing on 3-Series vehicles in the 1992 model year.

The only other change to the 318 in 1994 was the addition of drivers side air bags. BMW made that a standard feature in all of its vehicles in 1994.

The car still had its four-cylinder, 138 horsepower engine with a standard, four-speed manual gearbox or optional automatic. The 318's "devour twisting roads with ease," wrote one reviewer.
