CarGurus' 1991 Chevrolet Corvette Review

Let's start this article with a long, slow whistle through the teeth. That's how good the 1991 Chevrolet Corvette looked then, and can still look now if you can find a good one to restore.
In the middle of the C4 generation, Chevy revamped its Corvette, and the 1991 was the result. Details that had been limited to only the ZR-1s in 1990 were now on all models, including the rear convex fascia which would grow to be an identifying feature for the Corvettes of the early 90s.
Of course, as much as we want to buy Corvettes for their beauty, the power is what keeps us. The ZR-1 engine was a 350-ci, 5.7-liter monster capable of 375 horsepower at 5800 rpm. Driving felt like flying when I was behind the wheel of my old 'vette. Just another footnote. The ZR1 model Vette is 3" wider in the rear than a normal Vette to fit the 11" wide rear wheels. The ZR1 was powered by a Lotus Engineering designed, 4 cam, 350ci, all aluminum LT5 V8, that produced between 375 and 405hp depending on the year of production. :)
