This year brought about a complete redesign for the Civic. The outside is curvier and the engine is stronger. However, true to its history, it maintains outstanding value, price, and fuel economy. Coupes now come standard with a rear spoiler (something I had to pay extra for on the 1996 model I loved so...)
This first rendition of the eighth generation of Civics continues a stellar tradition started by Honda in 1973. Popular the world over by people of all ages, the Civic should remain a popular machine for years to come. Motor Trends awarded the Civic its "Car of the Year" award for 2006, the first time the Civic was thus honored since 1980.
