CarGurus' 2007 Ford F-150 Review

Ford has not changed much in its flagship pickup truck for 2007 -- but why would they? The only large change is an allowance of E85 fuel, which can help save consumers money on a truck which normally gets fairly low mileage.

The F-150 is rated to half a ton, and is available in a number of trims, including the XL, STX, XLT, FX4 and Lariat. In addition, Ford has added a new FX2 Sport Package for the 4x2 XLT SuperCab and a Super Crew with a Styleside box. The trim levels cause a difference in price ranging from around $18,000 up to $35,000.

It is amazing that one truck can fit the needs of so many different types of drivers. There is the basic truck, or it can be spruced up with a leather interior and increased towing for those needing a slightly more rugged vehicle.

The interior on all trims and packages is comfortable and convenient. It is obvious from the features that this truck and the engineers who have designed it have been in the business for quite some time. Panels are within easy reach, and the truck has a rugged feel to it without the uncomfortable ride which used to be associated with rugged-ness.

The Ford F-150 is a powerhouse in the automotive world, and the work that has gone into recent models all but guarantee that it will remain a force for the foreseeable future.
