my 1975 Malibu classic is an awsome car. 409 big block 395 horse. I just did a body make over and it's one of the nicest Malibu's around.

CarGurus' 1975 Chevrolet Chevelle Review

In its brochure for the 1975 Chevelle, Chevy called the car "mid-size" and "mid-price."  Improvements for the year included better insulation and sound muffling materials.

The base engine for the 1975 Chevelle was a 250-ci 1 barrel six rated at 105 horsepower, while the top engine remained a 454-ci V8 rated at 215 horsepower.

Power seats proved to be a popular option, and were controlled by buttons on the steering wheel.  Power locks were an option as well.
