CarGurus' 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Review
The 1967 Chevelle SS kept the RPO L35 as its base engine, complete with its 396-ci V8 rated at 325 horsepower. Although the 375 horsepower engine was no longer available, aftermarket parts were available to tune the 350 horsepower engine to the equivalent of the 375 horses.
The 67 Chevelle received new 14-inch wheels as well as the new option of front-disk brakes. On the exterior, a new bumper allowed more air pass-through, giving the car an appearance that some have compared to a mouth agape.
On the power front, the car lost some acceleration, going from 0-60 in 1.5 seconds; up .5 seconds from previous models.
