[Edit] The 1990 Ford Bronco continued the pattern of steady sales to a defined market niche. The SUV revolution was still some years away, so the rugged two-door Bronco was not yet considered to have mass appeal.
The sturdy utility vehicle was offered as a two-door, four-wheel drive model only. Three trims were available, XLT, Eddie Bauer, and Custom; the Eddie Bauer models featured comfortable interiors and outdoorsy elegance, while the Custom trim was a little shinier, with more interior chrome.
The '90 Ford Bronco came off the line with a 4.9 liter 150-horsepower straight-six engine; buyers could upgrade to a choice of two V-8s.
