Reviewers raved about the 1990 Chevrolet Astro's engine power, towing capability, visibility, roominess, and overall reliability. They also cited the tendency of the rocker panels to rust out, and of the door locks to malfunction. The ABS system had some problems as well. The rear seats are said to be a little heavy/difficult to remove.
