[Edit] Here's a riddle for ya: what do you get when you cross a car with an SUV with a minivan with a wagon? The 2005 Ford Freestyle! Available as both a two-wheel and all-wheel drive car-though Ford states neigher is intended for off-roading-the Freestyle seeks to make its own space in a crowded mid-size market.
The only available engine is a 3.0-liter V6 rated at 203 horsepower. The interior is spacious, with three rows of seating. The Freestyle is built on the same platform as the Volvo's S80, though with a significantly less luxurious feel, and a matching significantly less expensive price. The Freestyle isn't inexpensive, but it is not quite at Volvo levels yet.
All in all, a nice car that drives well in all weather.
