how does the awd work?
Question type: General
My understanding is that the front wheels are always powered like a basic fwd vehicle. When slippery conditions exist and there is a need for more traction, power will "automatically" also go to the rear wheels. Is this correct?

In your vehicle, that is correct, the car is in FWD mode until wheel slippage is detected via the ABS wheel sensors, and power is directed to that wheel or wheels.
