trailer light installation assistance and information 2006 VUE AWD V6
I need to install trailer lights on my 2006 AWD V6 Vue. Does anyone know if:
1. there needs to be a fuse or diod?
2. Will I need to cut and splice the harness to attach the trailer light wires & plug?
3. Does the Saturn Part #12499844 just "plug and play" or will I have to splice it in?

I would seriously consider letting the dealership do this for you. Reason being, with the amount of electrical/computer interface on new vehicles, there is a very good chance that a person unfamiliar with how the BCM interacts with the ECM, etc., may cause more harm than good.
I have seen it firsthand at the Dodge dealership.
dude,dodge is not saturn....this is a no brainer...even a trained monkey could do this....even the poster above could handle this one....very simple,saturn in 06 was stilling using old technology for the rear lights...only uses body computers to control auto headlights...part # 12499844 has been updated to a simple plug and play....# 12736799 will provide a simple install and provide you with a 4 prong harness...would take a trained monkey about 45 minutes to install...hope this helps and don't be affraid to tackle this one yourself...
