I have a 98 porsche boxter with a dead battery and the trunk opener beside the driver seat will not work because no power. How do I get into trunks?

I tried pulling release lever to get into  trunks but with no battery power they will not release.

You can open your front hood/trunk while using 12 volts of power/ external battery. Ground the negative lead to the door sill on the drivers side and connect the positive lead to the C3 fuse located in your fuse box 3rd row down 3rd fuse. HTH's

Just use jumper cables as Tom said above. I just drove a car close to the door of the car.

you may also be able to power it sufficiently to open the trunk using the cigarette lighter socket and a long cable
