I have a 98 porsche boxter with a dead battery and the trunk opener beside the driver seat will not work because no power. How do I get into trunks?

I tried pulling release lever to get into  trunks but with no battery power they will not release.

Just use jumper cables as Tom said above. I just drove a car close to the door of the car.

you may also be able to power it sufficiently to open the trunk using the cigarette lighter socket and a long cable
