turned car into race car last year, now it wont stay running!

we cut out a lot of the wiring we thought wasnt needed, raced last year now we try to start it. It fires but quits after 30 seconds then wont start at all. Any ideas what it might be?

did you remove the central wire harness next to the light system if not sure look if you can turn your lights on when the batt's plugged in if you took all the lights out you might have if you can get back to me that would help
All the lights are gone, cant have lights, glass ect. to race, we were thinking that there is a anti theft system in the car? already changed fuel pump and filters. There were blown fuses when we tried to start it the first time and we replaced them and still have the same results! if this is an anti theft system problem how can we eliminate it, maybe install a push button start?
