will 03 vibe base AWD still function with ABS light on?

Yes,but you may sometime,s feel the brake,s grab a little dew to it,it is drivable ,but you do need to have it repaired,

After replacing my propeller bearing and replacing the extension housing to rear diff to my AWD i pulled car onto my snowy yard and only the front tires seemed to spin, is there a delay to the awd system? I did not fix abs yet
