Have a 96 Ford Taurus with the steering wheel locked.

Question type: General

Tried pulling on the steering wheel while turning the key didn't work.  Tried
jacking up the front end to take some pressure off the front that didn't work.   
Any other suggestions?

Did you pull ass in back and forth? Turn the wheel until it stops and then try the key. Could be in either direction, right or left.
