i have a 2006 pontiac G6 and my check engine light is on.. i took it to a shop and they thought it was the solenoid but its not... HELP??

P0449 is a code indicating a problem with your evaporative emissions system or something related to it. Probable causes are a stuck vent valve, a fault in the wiring for it, or a defect in your Engine Control Module (ECM). Not sure what "solenoid" they mentioned but I would recomend getting a second opinion.
