My tranny is stuck in 1st.

My tranny has been slipping. Now after putting a new serp belt on, it won't come out of 1st. I don't think the belt would have anything to do with. Is there a tranny fuse or relay?

If your transmission was working fine before you experienced this problem more than likley the shift solenoid has failed.
