I was wondering if the tires on a 1997 Taurus and a 2005 Taurus interchangeable
tires or wheels anyway gige it a try.
As long as the bolt pattern on the two sets of wheels are the same they should be interchangable.

2005 wheels will fit on the '97, but non-SHO '97 wheels will not fit on the '05.
'96-'99 SHO and all 2001+ need 16" wheels to clear the front brakes.
