have a 97 same problem,, lithium grease in factory locks are sticky, or locks are worn, if any mechanical apitude try pulling apart door to see problem any other questions dont be afraid to yell this way
In our '97 the same thing happened. Also, the lock usually wouldn't open with the key either! We often had to open the left passenger door & reach forward to open the driver's door. The fix was about $150 worth of labor & parts if I remember correctly; a broken spring & a bent rod inside the door for the locking mechanism.
