- Salvage bolt dropped inside of body, changing hatchback lift supports on 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse?
Salvage bolt dropped inside of body, changing hatchback lift supports on 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse?
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I got new lift supports for my Eclipse hatchback, and when I released the screw from the old unit, on the
top of the right side support, I heard a clink, and the fastener fell inside the auto body. I started
removing some of the inside panels, but it looks certainly to be in the outside panel of the car. Has
anyone dealt with this problem?
