My motor was just replaced and now I notice anytime my ignition is on, the fan is blowing whether my car is cold or hot. What would cause this? Will it cause harm to my vehicle?

It won't do any harm other that premature wear on the fans. Causes could be the temp sending unit bad or not hooked up, fan relay, or a short. Take it back to where the engine was installed, if they are reputable at all they will work with you...and DON'T let them tell you it's 'normal' It's not.

Fordnut is on target ... the only disadvantage could be that if you live in the cold-cold north (like me) it may take a long time for the heater to get toasty warm
