93 mercury tracer wont turn over i get a crank but wont turn over

i have 93 mercury tracer it crank but wont turn over. i get a spark and a i get fuel to the motor and i was wondering if it could be the engine control unit ? and if so could someone put up and diagram on where it is located.

You should check to see if your starter is grounded properly my 93 wagon wouldn't do any thing when you turned the key. A new starter and battery later I found out the starter did not have a good ground
