2002 Mercury Cougar w/ bad transmission worth?

I have a 2002 Mercury Cougar with a
bad tranny, the car itself is in great
condition, with all new fluids,
thermostat, and heater core.
Everything is great but the tranny. I
paid 2,000 for it, how much could I
get for it now?

subtract the cost of the repair from your price. if it is more than the car is worth, time for the scrap yard.
