Service engine soon light came on. It feels like it is missing when I drive. What could it be?

If in USA go to auto zone. They will read the codes for free. Post the numbers back on here and we can help you figure it out.

I am having the same issue. I went to AutoZone and they said for me it was a cylinder 6 misfire at 1000 RPMs. I am thinking spark plugs, oxygen sensors, or gas cap?? I had an 01 escape and ford is the maker of the mountaineers and escapes and it was oxygen sensors before...bought the spark plugs just incase as well. A little help, please??
