I like to change the oil and filter often so I do it every 5000 km (running pure synthetic), tune ups are kind of different now but never hurts to check oil, brake, rad, tranny fluid levels often;along with tire pressure and air filter and pull a plug or two and peek. Keep hinges and cables lubricated, keep under-belly rinsed off (up in those nasty crannies where gunk hides) Change plugs (might as well do wires too) around 60000km,PCV around 100000 fuel filter while doing plugs.

and don't forget hoses and belts, change timing belt 100000 to 120000km,, change tranny fluid and filter 100000km* ,rad coolant 50000km. Get and read an owner's manual for detailed schedule and routine maintenance for your vehicle.

Check the owner's manual for recommended maintenance intervals on everything and then use your judgement.
