Mazda 626 Forum : “where is the fuel pump located on this car”

Fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank on this vehicle and will require removal of the tank to replace.

make sure you empty out the tank, so you can clean the tank before installing the new fuel pump, you don't want any debris or anything that may have caused the old fuel pump to go to get into the new pump.  Use a cleaner that wont leave a resedue.
