CAN DEXTRON 5 TRANS FLUID HURT THE 99 626 LX TRANS?

To the best of my knowledge, no. I seem to recall that the Dexron-rated ATF is all backwards-compatible, meaning that Dexron 5 will work for anything that requires Dexron 5 all the way down to Dexron 1.
