Alert lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine lights and also seat belt lights are on and off at times

Take your Tribute to a local auto parts store for a free reading. I visited my local Advance Auto this week and they did a computer code reading for free when my Check Engine light came on. It showed my catalytic converter on the passenger side so I bought some clean out additive and requested they clear the light and the code. So far so good. The seat belt could mean your air bag computer needs to be reset. Did you have an accident or did you simply stash items on the passenger seat that were heavy enough to trigger the light without a human sitting in the seat?
