Vehicle Stalls and Misfires 2002 Lincoln LS

I have a 2002 Lincoln LS V-6 and my question is this: Why does the car stall after going
for approximately a mile or so? It will run and after about a mile or so, it stalls, sometimes
it will misfires, current have 149,192 miles on the odometer. Could it be the fuel pressure
regulator?

That's a possibility. Could also be a bad Throttle Position Sensor, or a dirty Idle Air Control valve. Some models had a bad coil cover and rain water was getting in and causing the coils to fail. You also may have a clogged Cat converter.

Im not a expert but i own a LS and have for many years . I would first have the coil packs checked . It could be ones out or more. I've had the throutle sencer go out and that didnot make the car stall.
