2003 Kia sorento won't start

Asked by Ben Apr 13, 2016 at 05:01 AM about the 2003 Kia Sorento EX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 kia sorento wont start. I replaced the
camshaft pos sensor and the crank sensor.
Everything is on the timing marks. It will turn crank
but wont fire. Is there something else i could be
missing. It was running before vut was acting up
so i hooked my buddies code reader and it said
camshaft position sensor fault. I replace that and it
wouldnt start so I replaced the crank sensor also. I
put everything back together correctly and it still
wont start. It acts like it is trying to everynow and
then while cranking. Any help is greatly
appreciated!.

I can't diagnose it for you- but I think you are missing something, yeah- modern engine controls can not be treated like simple parts replacement procedures- and guessing is never good- and an old KIA is just gonna melt into the ground like Olaf on the beach on a summer day-

I am having the exact same problem. Did you find out what the problem was with the vehicle?
