Car search winner for me is a 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 5sp straight 6  4DR 4x4! seems mechanically sound, haven't gotten to my mechanic yet.....anything i should look for/consider now that i've taken it on? more details to follow...

Get a Carfax. that is the single most important thing you can do.

Nor any State. Not only is it the law, it is very unwise to drive without insurance.
