I have a 2002 liberty3.7 V6 runs fine on the open road but heats up otherwise. I replaced water pump, thermostat, clutch fan overheat sensor, hoses, flushed n filled radiator. What's left? Any Ideas?

Try cleaning your radiator with a garden hose and nozzle or better yet a pressure washer could be dirt and bugs in radiator fins causing little to no air flow that could be the reason why not over heating when riding because air is being forced through when moving.

Are the fans coming on? I know you replaced the sensor but it doesn't mean that the fans are working.

Ok. Not to sound silly but I've seen thermostats that were installed upside down before. Not saying you don't know how to install one but even the best of us make mistakes. You made sure that there were no air pockets in the radiator after you did the initial fill, correct? Are the radiator hoses collapsing when the coolant heats up, causing a restriction?

Thanks bud, covered those bases and I agree they should make thermostats that they cant b installed backwards. ; )
