When I first start my car in the morning it makes a
rattling sound, but later on in the day when I start it
up it sounds perfectly fine.

The V6 is overhead cam so I suppose you might be hearing the cam chain rattle until oil pressure comes up.

I do have a v6.. So are you saying its loose?? Do you think it's fixable or do I have just replace it??

I am saying that MIGHT be the source of the noise. If it is minor and quits after a couple of seconds then I would not worry about it. If it rattles for a long time then I would look at replacing the chain an/or the chain tensioner. Do you change your oil regularly? If your oil gets really dirty, the oil passage to the tensioner might be partially plugged up.

If you live where it gets really cold, do you use a winter weight oil in your car? Thick, cold oil takes longer to build pressure when the engine is first started.

Yea I think that might be the issue.. Thick oil... I use regular 10w penzoil and it didn't have any problem during the summer

Your owners manual will give oil recommendations for colder weather. Maybe you should change to a 5W-30.

Beginning in 2008 Toyota, Honda, and many manufacturers call for 0W20. So don't be afraid 5W30 is too light. Year round. The chain also has a guide, to keep it in place that needs good lubrication, the chain running along the guide that is several inches long

Like so, click for full screen. Just think of the lubrication needed
