About: 1999 Ford Expedition 4 Dr Eddie Bauer 4WD SUV
Intermittant Starting Problem!
Help, I think our Expedition is psycho! Every 100th or so start it simply does nothing. Unlock it, open the door, climb in, insert key and nothing. Lights are all on, etc. Nobody home. I've had it to a mechanic and to a Ford dealer. They couldn't figure it out. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Could it be the anti-theft? A short in the ignition? We've had the started checked, the wiring harness removed and cleaned all contacts.

What exactly happens when it doesn't start.
Does the gauge light up and run its self test?
Do you hear the fuel pump go on?
Is there anything in common with the other times it doesn't start?
Try to be as specific as possible.
