i need to know where to start on tranny problem

i have a 99 ford escort se and was driven down the high way and had cruse on then hit my cost to slow down and my tranny mad crazy nosies and cant get it to go into any gear it is like it is stuck in first because i can go forward but not change gears or nothing please help

think that one of the flexible connections to the radiator came undone~ losin' all your fluid...you might just take a gander at these flexible connection to the radiator...so that the transmission can keep it's cool~
