If it"s a box-expect a 4-7 mile decline...That"s fully-loaded..

Unless you have an after market transmission cooler installed I would be very concerned about towing anything with a Taurus. The car is only rated to tow 1,000 pounds and the transmissions are a known weak point of the car...

Keep your speed resonable and tow in 3rd gear rather than overdrive. Use care, and you'll get by if everything is already in good shape.
