I have a 1998 Honda Civic LX that is misfiring what can be the problem to this, it rev's high and low in the morning and after it is warm it runs normal, i also notice that when i press the gas pedal it jerks but after i give it enough gas it stops jerking. what can be the problem?

Do you have a check engine/service engine soon light on? Misfires are due to faulty coils or spark plugs. A jerky gas pedal can be a dirty throttle body. Sounds like you need a good tuneup.
