Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to repare my 2003 accord automatic transmission, and I found an used one but is from a 2005 ex v6.  Can I use it in my 2003 accord?  Thank you in advance for your help.

The engines and transmissions did not change between those years, so I would give you a cautious "yes." As always with transmission change-outs, be careful that all intakes and outtakes are the same on the engines, and that the transmission you have found to replace your old one has not been modified. Best of luck! CarGrrl

I agree with CarGrrl. I would be very cautious in this case since some minor things do change from year to year. However, I do believe that the 2005 model transmission should work just fine for your application.
