2015 Tahoe LTZ faint chirping sound coming from rear while applying short accerlations.

Asked by tpa_cholo Jun 08, 2015 at 08:49 PM about the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a brand new 2015 Tahoe LTZ 2wd and love it, however after about 6 months of owning it and 8,000 miles, I started hearing this weird chirping sound, almost like a high pitched squeal or whistle that goes away right after, so the chirp is like a second, and happens consistently when apply about 20-30 % on the gas pedal.  This is truly annoying and is driving me nuts.  Anyone else out there experiencing this issue?  I currently have my Tahoe at the dealer and their first response was like 'uh.. I don't know....'

I have a 2016 Tahoe with the same chirping sound. No one knows where it is coming from. Did you ever find out anything?
