Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My icm   went out so i borrowed one till i
gota new one on line. The part got here
today and when i replaced it i got nothing.
No spark. Turns over fine just no spark. So i
put back my buddys icm and i got the same
thing with that one. No spark! I reset
computer checked fuses, but nothing
obvious. Any suggestions should be
appreciated

What were the DTC (codes) on the computer before you "reset" it. Check the CKP(crankshaft position sensor) Multimeter needed You can remove the sensor, and then test the resistance. Attach one end of the multimeter to each wiring lead of the sensor. Resistance of zero means that the there is a short circuit. Infinite resistance means there is an open circuit either means its. DONE time to replace
