Crown Vic 2007 odometer is off but sometimes it comes on

open the hood and you will see the speedo cable close to the firewall ... it should have 2 cables in a coupling ... with your fingers ... tighten the connector

The odometer and speedometer should work off the Vehicle Speed Sensor mounted on the transmission.
