Converter as Tom said is not likely the problem. If no check engine light, I would have the throttle body cleaned. It may be an idle issue or something else. I am betting a check engine light is involved.

Yes my check engine light is on and that's what is showing when I had it tested but then a few days later it went off my car was driving fine then came back on and that's when it started having problems The 2 time my light came on I have not been driving my car at all unless I absolutely have to When I first start the car it's fine until the engine warms up then when I come to a stop is when it starts losing power and wants to die so I either put it in neutral give it gas or just my foot on the break and give it gas and that seems to keep it going I don't no much about cars and don't have a lot of Exter funds just moved to a new town and don't know hardly anyone or no of a good place to take it for good reliable and reasonable thanks everyone for your time and help Merry Christmas And God bless!!
