1984 Chevy S-10, one of my rear tail lights is dimmer than the other...possible causes?

One of my rear tail lights is a lot dimmer than the other.  What would cause this, a short or bad bulb?

Did you change the bulb? If it is a short you would probably have no light at all...! Other things to check.... Dirty Lens .... Bad or Dirty Ground Wire.... Weak Bulb.... Bulb not making good contact in socket !! Hope this helps you and let us know what you find out, ok?
