I have a 1984 Mazda 626 auto and it won't start. I changed the fuel pump and decypher my gas but still no improvement it's been sitting for a while and cranks on occasions.

did you put a new fuel filter in it also? is the pump getting full power???

Can you see fuel spraying into the carb with a light? If not, you have a fuel issue. You may have plugged jets or a plugged fuel filter. If it will run with start fluid, then you pretty much are not getting fuel. May also be a bad fuel pressure regulator.
