i have problem with my 1989 Z24, i dont know if is the EGR valve or fuel pump, what happened is I start the car then after 10 or 11 min shut off by self, then i try to restart it didnt start, i did changed spark plug cable and getting about 40psi in fuel pump, what else can be?

Check for spark after vehicle will not start this will let you know if you are losing spark after vehicle shuts off. Lets try that first.

because its only one cyl. did you ground the plug out of the engine after you changed the plug and wire to see if it was firing? i would check the coil pack..
