What 350 engine and transmission would be fastest for a 1986 chevy caprice ? Also, what engine and transmission would fit with no problems

Look at Chevy crate engines, or one done by Edlebrock. Tremac transmissions are made to bolt on to your engine and mount in your car. Or you can go the rebuild route and get a beefier transmission set up.
