1988 mark vii. Heat and air works, but when you turn on defroster air want blow on windshield. Its like something isn't opening up. any thoughts?

seems like duct to the windshield is stuck closed

probably have a bad blend door actuator. not sure on your model, but it could be run electrically or by vacuum.

Mind did that check the vents on the panel reel simple My wad in off position Keep coping panel vents on and off
