Ok here is a list of what I have seen fail on Dakotas: Fuel pumps and relays, with the introduction of ethanol fuels an increase of pump and hose failures, an occasional fuel injector, ignition switches, ASD relays, distributors coming apart, ignition coils. Assuming that all of the maintenance items are replaced as recommended.
