Could any of you tell me where to buy the 2 hood release latches that are on the extreme left and right side inside or behind the grille of a 1984 500 SEC. DO ANY OF YOU HAVE EVER BOUGHT ANY and if so, where, what is the exact name of the item or reference as to where to get a hold of at least the left one when looking at the grille from the fron. Desperate for some help

#! the previous post are from evidently have never owned one set in the driver's side front seat now take your left hang directly down to the floor move to the left under the parking brake and to the wall you will find a latch handle pull backwards towards the seat this will release the hood go to the front of the car you will find a gray tab sticking out of the grill pull backwards while lifting the hood be careful not to slam the hood down just a firm but not strong closing it can cause damage to the hood release i have owned one for 10 years
