Sorry for messaging some of you privately instead of just posting this public message. I'm new to the site and couldn't figure out how to post a public message until just now.

I'm looking at this '82 Volvo 240 Turbo. It appears to be in mint condition. Everything works. It has 165k miles. Asking price: $2,475. Is that fair? What major costs could I expect with this car in the future?

That could be a fair price for a mint condition car. No telling what the major costs would be on a 30+ year old car with 160,000 miles. Best guess is an engine or transmission failure.
